I don’t know who came up with the saying “less is more” but they were clearly never the proud owner of a uterus or damaged pelvic floor. Because when it comes to dealing with either of those things, you want the MOST protection.

Enter the HyPs Max.

16” long with 5 layers of absorbency, these new members of the HyPs family are taking the Lil Helper tendency of being a lil extra to a whole new level.

  1. Rinse off any blood/residue under running cold water.
  2. Place your HyPs in a wetbag, mesh laundry bag or bin until wash day.
  3. Machine wash with a commercially available detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners. Don't scrub. Ideally wash them in a mesh bag for longevity!
  4. Hang dry, or tumble dry on low heat for a maximum of 20 minutes. Don't worry if there are some stains. The sun can do wonders for giving your HyPs a facelift.
  5. Have an ice cream or climb a mountain. You are a badass and the planet is a better place because of you.

Size Matters

A full 16” long, these babies offer the most coverage of all our HyPs products and should never leave you wanting more.

Layers of Greatness

Our HyPs Max have a whopping 5 layers of hidden bamboo terry inside. This is topped with our Stay-Dry material for quick absorption that spreads out moisture evenly and helps ensure that your pads will never stick to your sensitive bits.

Protect your white jeans

Not only are HyPs backed with a waterproof PUL fabric, made from recycled plastic materials, they also have waterproof wings to prevent moisture from going where it shouldn’t and to double the leak-proof protection.

Tired of waking up to a scene out of a b-level horror flick?

Wake up feeling fresh as a daisy.

The HyPs Max are perfect for mid incontinence, overnights or postpartum protection. Slim but with a buttload (very technical design term) of absorbency, these can handle more than they appear. Plus, for the postpartum days, they are gentle on your already all-too-sensitive bits. With our natural, stay-dry, no sticking materials, you can spare your already overworked vagina any additional agony.

Also, whether you’ve just had a babe or have particularly gnarly nights, our Lifesaver Mat may help keep your sheets from suffering the consequences.

Worried about the logistics of reusable pads?

We offer a whole system.

Because why create half a painting or build part of a bridge? Not only do we have 4 absorbencies of HyPs pads (check our Liner, Regular and Heavy) but we’ve also got you covered with all the accessories you need to make using them simple. Pair your HyPs with a travel case (Combo Bag), home storage (Dry/Wetbag) and a Mesh Bag for laundry.

But what about the laundry?

Don’t worry, these have super easy washing instructions.

Step 1: Rinse until water runs clear
Step 2: Throw them in your washing machine and eat some Haagen Daz to feel better while you wait.

Gone are the days of handwashing reusable pads like they’re delicate.

Because you rinse them off, HyPs can be collected until laundry day and thrown in with your regular load with no fear of stains or ick getting on your other stuff.

A great fit, guaranteed.

The secret? Snazzy snaps.

Our snaps are snappy for a few reasons. First, two snaps are better than one and allow for a custom fit on any undergarments. Second, smaller, low-profile snaps are used to prevent any discomfort.

Hummm… anything else I’m forgetting?

Oooooh Prints!

The HyPs line prioritizes function over form. But there is no reason you can’t have your cake and eat it too. They come in a variety of amazing prints that were exclusively designed for our HyPs line and will (hopefully) leave you with a smile instead of a desire to burn down your entire subdivision and that little parkette that is overrun with weeds. They also come in some more neutral colours for those with a little more of thmat “less is more” sensibility that we have.

More coverage, more absorbency, and more protection all in a slim and comfy package that will leave you feeling comfy and confident.

Fantastic

I'm in my 40's and my body is changing! It became uncomfortable to wear a cup because of some bladder/pelvic floor issues. So I was using tons of disposable pads and feeling pretty bummed! Decided to give these a try and they really work! Will definitely be ordering more.

Hiya Merenda,
The trumpets are playing and the confetti poppers are going off like crazy around here knowing that we helped you ditch disposables and make the switch to reausables!
I hope you find them comforable and reach out to us at delight@lilhelper.ca if you ever need us!
Cheers,
Caitlin @ Lil Helper

I was highly skeptical because the pad is so thin. I wore it for MANY HOURS and no leaks. Normally would have gone through several disposable pads in the timeframe on a heavy day.

Hi Merenda,
When we design a product, it is always our mission to include a happy surprise for folks like you. Sometimes it's an easter egg hidden in a print, or a thoughtful detail in our tags, and sometimes it's just creating something that makes people skeptical and then exceeds expectations.
It is a thrill to everyone on our team to know we hit the mark with you!
With gratitude,
Caitlin @ Lil Helper

I was skeptical

I wasn’t sure if I would like these or if they’d actually work, but decided to try them out. I’m not sure if I used it “backwards” or “forwards,” but it was very comfortable! I was also worried it’d show through with my tight(er) dress, but nothing showed through. It was so easy to wash. I haven’t had a full cycle on these, but wear for spotting days, and it wasn’t super messy or anything.

Hi Kristen,
When it comes to wearing HyPs 'the right way' there really is no right way. Because every body and flow is different, while we originally designed them to have the shorter side at the front, many folks like to wear them backwards!
It is wonderful to read that you found them comfortable and discrete.
We are so grateful to have the opportunity to offer you a cycle solution!
With kind regards,
Caitlin @ Lil Helper

Kinda Just Meh

I bought a couple in a few sizes, excluding pantyliners, so I could try out reusables to help out sensitive skin. I have these and a few I made, so there's not much for me to compare them to in terms of my experience. I did expect a commercial reusable pad to be nicer than my slapped together sewing. And the conclusion is just kind of meh. They did the job, absorbed the flow (medium-heavy period), washed up good. They shifted, had a really short front, poorly shaped wings that rubbed and would rub worse if worn backwards to help the shifting/short front. Though the binding is a soft jersey material, it is too bulky and uncomfortable after a day or two of rubbing. Though quite absorbant, they are also rather squelchy and I was concerned that my movements throughout the day would cause leaks from the pad being 'squeazed' by my movements throughout the day. It didn't leak, but felt as if it would. This was consistent with both the heavy and regular pads and so wasn't a problem from me using the wrong absorbancy.

So, they will stay in my stash, but won't be the ones I reach for first. I'll probably save them for days I'm not working or doing active things since the squelchy feeling is not nice. I'll stick to sewing my own since it's less expensive and I like the finished product better. I can put the wings where I need them and avoid the binding that rubs.

Good except they don't stay in place

Overall they are comfortable and effective, the only issue is that they don't stay in place which has resulted in some instances of getting blood on my underwear and thus when wearing some anxiety and hyper-vigilance about them sliding. I've heard new ones are coming with silicone dots, which is great, but I'll have to make some kind of modification to the ones I have in order to have them be truly usable and trustworthy.

Hi N.L.
Thank you for taking the time to send us feedback. It is like food to us, it makes us so much better and helps us grow.
From similar feedback to yours, you are right that we will be releasing our new HyPs Active line very very soon to help our pads stay in place. Every body is different, and some folks reporting wearing our OG HyPs backwards helps very much.
Thank you again for giving us a try and sharing your experience. It is truly appreciated.
With warm regards,
Caitlin @ Lil Helper
