HyPs Regular Reusable Pads

I wanted to give myself at least one full cycle before writing a review.

Pros:
These pads are AMAZING. This is my first time using reusable cloth pads and I had no idea what to expect, but it has exceeded my expectations. They are comfortable against my skin, and super breathable but also ridiculously absorbent. I have a medium flow and I can wear one all day without any leakage. Because the gusset is dark blue, I barely ever see any staining unless there is clotting and there’s really no smell at all. I didn’t feel any of the ick factor that I normally do with disposable pads. I was actually excited to start my next cycle and use them a second time. They keep me feeling dry and protected all day.

Small Con:
As someone who is really physically active, sometimes the pad slips a bit out of place when I’m doing vigorous exercise. I think if there was something that would secure it to the underwear even better (like velcro or maybe even a silicone strip?) that would be amazing. Super minimal detail to an otherwise really great product! With regular activity, I don’t experience any slippage.

I love these, I just got them the other day and have been so excited. Full disclosure, I am a trans man about 2 years on T. I am also unmedicated ADHD and often forget to give myself my testosterone shot through the month, and because of my inconsistency, I will occasionally have a light - normal cycle. Its not fun, and I never know when/if itll happen, and buying pads can be a bit dysphoric. These are a game changer in so many ways. For all the normal ways, but also that I can choose neutral patterns, they don't crinkle so if I need one in a public men's room I am not worried about someone hearing it and clocking me, and I know ill always have these vs having to make a run to get disposables randomly. They're less obvious as to what they are as a buttoned cloth bundle so keeping a backup in any bag Im carrying is so, so nice. Theyre also incredibly soft, just as soft as my best underwear. 100/10 would recommend. And thank you Uncle Mo (& co.!) for making such wonderful products and always being so inclusive with patterns and language! It makes surprise cycles as a trans man a lot less uncomfortable to deal with!!

I wore this pad for the first time today and it worked so well that I forgot I was even wearing it and bled on to my pants. Thankfully I was at home and could quickly change and prevent staining. Don’t be like me, buy more than one and set yourself a reminder!

I've thought about buying these for a couple of years, and when ordering XL lifesavers for a family member I included some HyPs for myself. Done with all the disposable trash and plastic crinkle and adhesive that gets itself attached to hair (OOOWWWW)

It’s thinner than my other reusable pads that I got off of Amazon so it doesn’t look like I’m wearing a diaper! So glad I made that switch. The designs are also fantastic
