Heavy-Duty wash (longest cycle) on warm (max. 140 F/60 C) with recommended amount of detergent. Make sure you use enough detergent.
Line dry when you can or tumble dry on medium.
Use a reputable, commercially available detergent, either plant-based or synthetic
Do not use laundry soaps such as castile or coconut-based soaps and detergents with fabric softener.

Absolutely love this!!! I have the mini and the classic and have been so pleased. My older dog recently had to come off her incontinence meds so is leaking when she sleeps or relaxes. This massive mat is so helpful for keeping couches and my bed dry, and I love that the moisture is wicked away, unlike normal waterproof dog blankets whether the moisture sits on top, so she's not laying in the wet. Might need an XXL too!

I have a senior diva kitty (18) who sometimes has bladder accidents. Unfortunately, she also loves sleeping on our bed during the day while we are at work, which can lead to some issues. Prior to getting this mat we were using the Amazon waterproof pads for beds, but found we had to layer at least 2 on top of the bed because sometimes one didn't fully work.
I put this Lifesaver mat on the bed with the waterproof side up and came home to find it is really waterproof! May be TMI, but the mess was puddled on top instead of absorbed down (and possibly absorbed into my bedding).
It looks nicer than the cheap Amazon pads and works significantly better. Win-win!

My 7 year old daughter with special needs still wets her bed 3-4 night a week. The lifesaver mats work better for her to use than a pull-up. She always peed through the pull-up and would get rashes. Now if she had an accident it is a quick easy cleanup and her skin is healthier. We have the lifesaver mat under her sheet but over her waterproof mattress protector. She tosses and turns a lot in the night so the fitted sheet on top keeps the lifesaver mat in place. Since using the lifesaver mats we really don’t have to change her waterproof mattress protector. We also tried using towels prior to purchasing the lifesaver mats but she would often pee through them or complain about the lumps in her bed.
It is worth the investment and has held up after 6 months of continual use and washing in the washer and drying in the dryer.

We got the life saver mat a few years ago and it has been one of the best purchases we’ve made. Cannot rave about it enough. So comfy! Love the fleecy part for winter and the smoother side for summer! (I know they have their own uses but let me be!)
It literally made our lives so much easier! Just throw it in the wash and boom! You’re done! We typically line dry out clothes anyway and the best thing about this mat is that unlike so many other “waterproof” products, doesn’t hold on to water too much and does not drip on the floor! Both my mattress protectors (cheap and expensive one) do and it’s the most annoying thing having to put something to catch the dripping. But not with life saver mat! Never had this issue! I can’t wait to try the little helper bedding! Also customer service is impeccable! Honestly the best company to support ❤️

No More Stripping The Bedding Every Day!
My 19 year old Beagle has started having some incontinence issues when sleeping. I bought the XL lifesaver mat and it truly is a lifesaver!
